Aluminium foil has the advantages of being non-toxic, corrosion resistant, impermeable, heat resistant, moisture resistant, light resistant and autoclavable. Pharmaceutical aluminium foils is generally 0.02mm thick and consists of a protective layer, an ink printing layer, a base material and an adhesive layer. It is costly and is mainly used for some expensive pharmaceutical packaging.
