Types of aluminium sheets and aluminum panels

Aluminium sheet or aluminum panel, as the name suggests, is a sheet material made from aluminium or aluminium alloy material. Alternatively, it is a sheet aluminium product manufactured from a flat aluminium embryo by a process of heating, rolling and straightening or solid solution ageing heat.

There are three general types of aluminium sheets according to their use.

1. aluminium panels for building curtain wall whose minimum thickness of the upper and lower aluminium panels is not less than 0.50mm and the total thickness should be not less than 4mm. aluminium material should meet the requirements of GB/T 3880, generally to use 3000, 5000 and other series of aluminium alloy plates, the coating should be fluorocarbon resin coating.

2. the upper and lower aluminium panels for external wall decoration and advertising shall be made of rust-proof aluminium with a thickness of not less than 0.20mm, and the total thickness shall be not less than 4mm. the coating shall generally be made of fluorocarbon coating or polyester coating.

3. aluminium composite panels for interior use are generally made of aluminium with a thickness of 0.20mm, with a minimum thickness of 0.10mm and a total thickness of 3mm. the coating is generally polyester or acrylic.

1. Fire-retardant panels are made with a flame-retardant core material, with a flammability level (B1) or non-combustible level (A); at the same time, other performance indicators must also meet the requirements of the technical indicators of aluminium composite panels.

2. anti-bacterial and anti-mould aluminium composite panels are coated with anti-bacterial and anti-bacterial coatings to control the reproduction of microbial activities and ultimately kill bacteria.

3. Anti-static aluminium composite panel is coated with anti-static paint, the surface resistivity is below 109, which is smaller than the surface resistivity of ordinary aluminium composite panel, so it is not easy to generate static electricity and the dust in the air is not easy to adhere to its surface.
