In August 2022, China exported 540,400 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%; the cumulative export from January to August was 4.701 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 31.5%. In August, the export of alumina in aluminum industry was 120,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1843.1%; the cumulative export from January to August was 72 tons, a year-on-year increase of 628.0%. In August, China imported 10.75 million tons of bauxite, a year-on-year increase of 24.2%. From January to August, the total import of bauxite was 86.55 million tons, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year. The import volume of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in August was about 200,440 tons, a decrease of 19% year-on-year. The import volume of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products from January to August was 1,477,097 tons, a decrease of 27% from January to August last year.
From January to July 2022, the global primary aluminum market will be in short supply by 916,000 tons, and in 2021, the supply will be in short supply by 1.558 million tons. In the first seven months of this year, global primary aluminum demand was 40.192 million tons, down 215,000 tons from the same period last year. Global primary aluminium production fell by 0.7% during the period. At the end of July, total reportable stocks were 737,000 tonnes below December 2021 levels.

Research and formulate guidelines for the construction of a carbon peaking standard system in the industrial field, including standards such as recycled aluminum products, carbon accounting, and carbon footprint.
Statistics from the Bureau of Statistics show that China's alumina output in August 2022 was 7.184 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.1%; the cumulative output from January to August was 54.443 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%. In August, the output of electrolytic aluminum was 3.506 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%; the cumulative output from January to August was 26.472 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%.
