The most common way to form 1100 aluminum sheet is cold working. However pure aluminum can be hot worked as well, but more frequently, 1100 aluminum is shaped by spinning, stamping and drawing, and none of them require the use of high heat. Different tempers of 1100 aluminum sheets has different mechanical properties, however they are mostly coherent to the 1 series pure aluminum properties and have low strength, brilliant correction resistance, formability, electronic and heat conductivity and high weld-ability.
