Which aluminium panels are suitable for billboards

Aluminium sheet is currently the more popular material for making billboards, with over 80% of billboards on the market being made of aluminium.

There are two types of aluminium panels for sign making, pure aluminium panels and alloy aluminium panels. Pure aluminium is less expensive, but not as hard as alloy aluminium. Now most signs are made of pure aluminium, the main grades are 1050 and 1060, the thickness is generally concentrated in 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0mm, the general width in 1000mm-2000mm, the length in 2000mm, if it is round signage, the thickness is basically in 2.0mm or so. Some advertising signs also require surface oxidation treatment, which is also common.

International signage is predominantly alloy, with much stronger, harder and more reflective properties than the pure aluminium version. With the development of the advertising industry, alloy will also gradually replace pure aluminium as the main material for signage.
