Of all the 8 series of aluminium sheets, the cheapest is the 1 series pure aluminium sheet, as no other chemical elements are added. This is why the production process is the simplest and the price is the cheapest. Of course, in terms of performance, 1-series aluminium sheets are not as good as the other series.

Among the aluminium alloys, the 3 series is slightly higher in performance than the 1 series and is an aluminium sheet with manganese as the main alloying element. By adding manganese, the mechanical and chemical properties of the aluminium sheet are significantly improved, especially the corrosion resistance, which is particularly significant. Because of the addition of other chemical elements, the 3 series aluminium sheet is more complex than the 1 series aluminium sheet in terms of smelting process and is more expensive than the 1 series aluminium sheet.

Series 5 aluminium is the most commonly used aluminium sheet in the automotive industry today, with aluminium and magnesium as the main alloying elements. Compared with the 3 series aluminum plate, smelting aluminum and magnesium alloy on the equipment, production process level requirements are higher, at present, only the domestic strength of large aluminum can produce, the price is naturally higher than the 3 series.
