What is aluminium strip? Aluminium strip is a deep-processed aluminium product formed by the slitting of aluminium coils, the slit size of which can be customized according to customer requirements. It is an important raw material in industry.

Depending on the alloying elements contained in the strip, aluminium strip is divided into several series, as are aluminium sheets. However, the most commonly used series are 1000, 3000, 5000 and 8000 series. Depending on the annealed state of the aluminium strip, it can be divided into fully soft (o-state) semi-hard (H24) and fully hard (h18). At present the most commonly used ones belong to the full soft series, because the O-state is easier to stretch and bend. The main processing equipment for aluminium strip is the slitting machine, which can be divided into the required lengths and widths according to requirements. Of course the equipment for slitting and processing is universal and can also be used for processing copper coils, the processed product is called copper strip. At present, the international raw materials for electronic products no longer purely rely on copper tape, because the conductivity of aluminium is just lower than that of copper, so aluminium tape instead of copper tape is becoming a popular trend internationally.
