1、Control the concentration of the pickling solution: the water will gradually evaporate during the rust removal process, therefore, water should be added at any time to adjust the formula to keep it within the process range so that the acid concentration will not be too high and cause the aluminium plate to be corroded.

2. Keep the acid clean: If alkali and other dirt are brought in during the acid rust removal process, the acid composition will gradually change and affect the pickling efficiency. Therefore, in order to obtain satisfactory pickling effect, the acid should be checked, analysed and replaced regularly to keep the acid properly clean.

3、Control the temperature: The temperature should be controlled according to the process specification. Increasing the temperature can accelerate the pickling speed, but the corrosion of aluminium plates and equipment also increases. Most of the pickling at room temperature, when the need to heat the pickling, but also often control the temperature in the range of 60 ~ 70 ℃. For some softer acid, because the corrosion of the workpiece and equipment is smaller, sometimes also used at higher temperatures.

4、Appropriate agitation: pickling generally requires agitation. In jet cleaning, usually with 100 ~ 170kPa pressure, sometimes also with 280kPa pressure, by pump pressure, for complex workpiece need to adjust the nozzle, so that the acid can be sprayed to the groove pit parts. In the dipping pickling, the stirring effect can be achieved with crosstalk, rotating aluminium plates, compressed air or mechanical rotating vanes, etc.
