Aluminum plate manufacturers introduce 6061 alloy aluminum plate commonly used states are T6 and T651. Generally, the internal stress of T6 will be larger and processing will deform. Therefore, the suitable state for processing is T651. T651 state is based on T6 stretching to eliminate internal stress, and is a high quality aluminum alloy product after heat treatment pre-stretching process.

6061-T651 aluminum sheet strength cannot be compared with 2-series and 7-series alloy products, however, due to the presence of magnesium and silicon elements, therefore, 6061 aluminum sheet has excellent weldability, corrosion resistance and cold working properties. It can be anodised for colouring and painted, and is a widely used alloy, often used in architectural decoration.
