The difference between raw and cooked aluminium
I. Raw aluminium
Raw aluminium is a kind of impure aluminium with a composition of less than 98%, also called tumbled aluminium. It is extracted from the natural refining of the chemical composition of alumina, with aluminium and silicon as the main raw material, or then add some other alloying elements formed by the aluminium. It is the aluminium industry's "cast aluminium alloy" and its formed aluminium parts are known as castings, with a rough and brittle surface.
Two, cooked aluminium
Cooked aluminium is a kind of aluminium with a composition higher than 98%, also known as "deformed aluminium alloy". There are seven series of aluminium alloys on the market, namely: 1 series of pure aluminium, 2 series of aluminium-copper, 3 series of aluminium-silicon, 4 series of aluminium-manganese, 5 series of aluminium-magnesium, 6 series of aluminium-magnesium-silicon, 7 series of aluminium-magnesium-zinc. Aluminium tubes, rods, profiles, wires, sheets, foils, etc., which are commonly found in the industrial automation industry, are all part of the cooked aluminium series.
Three, raw aluminium and cooked aluminium difference
The obvious difference between the two is the raw aluminium composition is impure, the material is brittle and fragile, can only be made into castings.
And cooked aluminium composition is pure, soft texture, more material, can be made into a variety of extrusion and rolling products.
