In 2016, 178 parties around the world signed the Paris Agreement, with the long-term goal of limiting the rise in global average temperature to less than 2°C from the pre-industrial period and working to limit the temperature rise to less than 1.5°C. Currently 121 countries and territories, including the EU, the US, Japan, South Korea and South Africa, are committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

As an energy-intensive industry, the aluminium industry uses a lot of electricity and has high emission intensity, making it a key area for emissions reduction. According to the data measured by Antaike, the production process of aluminium in China has a high proportion of primary aluminium use, resulting in the carbon emissions of the whole life cycle of aluminium being higher than the global average, and carbon emission reduction is the goal of the whole industry chain of the Chinese aluminium industry. Since its establishment, it has focused on aluminium processing industry, mainly engaged in the research and development and production of aluminium sheet and foil, and its products have been expanded from the initial aluminium sheet and foil to two categories of aluminium sheet and foil and industrial aluminium profiles. In the production and operation of Haomei Aluminium, we are actively practicing the concept of green and low-carbon development. We have laid out the comprehensive utilization of aluminum ash slag, comprehensive utilization of renewable resources and rooftop photovoltaic projects in three aspects, namely, recycling of aluminum scrap, construction of recycled aluminum projects and improvement of energy structure, so as to reduce industrial energy consumption and achieve green and low-carbon development while improving the economic efficiency of the enterprise.
