7 series aluminium, zinc and magnesium alloy characteristics.

7 series aluminum alloy belongs to super hard aluminum alloy series, the main alloy elements are zinc, magnesium and copper. Representative grades 7050 and 7075, heat treatment effect is particularly good, super high strength deformation aluminum alloy plate, solid melt treatment after good plasticity, with good mechanical properties, wear resistance and fatigue resistance. The disadvantage is that the welding performance is poor and there is a tendency of stress corrosion cracking, which needs to be protected by aluminium cladding or other protective treatment.

7075: used for aircraft parts, gears and shafts, instrument shafts and gears, mould making turbines, keys, aircraft, aviation and defence, etc. requiring high strength, corrosion resistance and high stress structural parts

l7005: Extruded materials for the manufacture of welded structures that require both high strength and high fracture toughness, such as trusses, rods and vessels for transport vehicles; large heat exchangers, and parts that cannot be solidified after welding; also used in the manufacture of sports equipment such as tennis rackets and softball bats

7039 : Refrigeration containers, cryogenic apparatus and storage tanks, fire-fighting pressure equipment, military equipment, armour plates, missile devices

7050: Medium thick plates, extrusions, free forgings and drop-forged parts for aircraft structures. The requirements for the manufacture of such parts are: resistance to spalling corrosion, stress corrosion cracking ability, fracture toughness and fatigue resistance are high
