1, 6063 aluminium plasticity is better than 6061, so there is no special requirements of extrusion profiles mostly choose 6063 grade. But the strength and machinability of 6063 is not as good as 6061 aluminium. The 6005 aluminium has a higher tensile and yield strength than 6061 and 6063, and has better fracture toughness. The profile with higher strength requirements will use 6005 grade.

2, 6063 and 6061 surface gloss is better than 6005, 6005 aluminum will be relatively dark some. Therefore, 6063 aluminium is more suitable for decorative materials.

3, 6061 and 6005 aluminum alloy can also be made into aluminum plate, while 6063 aluminum alloy basically will not do aluminum plate.
