The surface treatment of aluminium profiles is mainly divided into: sandblasting (forming a matt pearl silver surface), polishing (forming a mirror surface), brushing (forming a satin-like effect), electroplating (covering a layer of other metals), spraying (covering other non-metallic coatings)

Sandblasting

Sandblasting is the use of compressed air as a power source to form a high-speed jet beam to spray material (copper ore, quartz sand, emery, iron sand, sea sand) at high speed onto the surface of the workpiece to be treated, causing a change in the appearance or shape of the workpiece surface.

Sandblasting has strong applications in both engineering and surface processes, such as: improving the viscosity of bonded parts, decontamination, optimising surface burrs after machining, and surface matting.

The sandblasting process is more uniform and efficient than hand sanding, and this method of stainless steel finishing creates a low-profile, durable character to the product.

Polishing

The polishing process is mainly divided into: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, electrolytic polishing.
