Aluminium alloys are a class of non-ferrous structural materials used in industry and have been used in large numbers in the aviation, aerospace, automotive, machinery manufacturing, marine and chemical industries. The rapid development of the industrial economy has led to an increasing demand for welded structural parts made of aluminium alloys, which has led to an in-depth study of the weldability of aluminium alloys. At present, aluminium alloy is the most used alloy.

Aluminium alloy die-casting products are mainly used in electronics, automobiles, electric motors, home appliances and some communication industries, etc. Some high toughness aluminium alloy products are also used in large aircraft, ships and other demanding industries. The main use is still in the parts of some instruments.

The aluminium alloys we commonly see in doors and windows are pure aluminium, but the aluminium alloys are "drawn aluminium", which has a softer characteristic, and the aluminium alloys are "AI-SI die-cast aluminium". The aluminium alloy is first purchased as ingots, melted at a high temperature, then poured into a mould by a machine arm, pressurised, cooled and demoulded to produce a moulded aluminium alloy product.
