5 series aluminium and magnesium alloys.
Mostly used in architectural decoration, pressure vessels, ship structures and marine facilities, aircraft fuel tanks, automobile fuel tanks, automobile gas storage cylinders, containers, etc.. Among them, the can cover material is mostly made of 5052 and 5183 alloy, and 5754 is mostly used in western countries as car body panels.
6 series aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy.
Mainly used in construction, ships, rail vehicles, electronics, electrical electronics, consumer durables and other fields.
7 Series Al-Mg-Zn alloy.
Super hardness, small density and good mechanical properties make the 7 series aluminium alloy sheet the material of choice for aerospace equipment, and it is also widely used in various machinery, moulds and other processing and production fields.
8 series aluminium-lithium alloy.
The aluminium sheet with the main function of making bottle caps is also used in radiators, mostly applied as aluminium foil.
Calculation of aluminium and density of each series of aluminium
The sale of aluminium can be divided into two types: quoted by weight or quoted by sheet/branch/meter, but whichever is the final accounting cost is calculated by weight.
Calculation method of aluminium.
1、Aluminium sheet: thickness mm * width m * length m * density = weight per sheet. For example: 1060 of 1 * 1200 * 2400mm easy calculation 1 * 1.2 * 2.4 * 2.71 = 7.8 kg
2、Aluminium bar: diameter mm * diameter mm * 0.0022 = weight per metre
3、Aluminium tube: wall thickness mm * (outside diameter mm - wall thickness mm) * 0.00879 = weight per metre
4、Aluminium disc: thickness mm*diameter m*diameter m*2.127=sheet weight
Density of common grades.
1 series: [ 2.71 】
2 series: 【 2.78 】
3 series: [ 2.73 ]
Series 5: 5052 [ 2.73 ]; 5083 [ 2.66 ]
Series 6: [ 2.7]
Series 7: [ 2.85]
