5 series aluminium sheets

5 series aluminium sheets: 5052, 5005, 5083 and 5A05 alloys are the main representatives. 5 series aluminium sheets are used in industrial production in a wide range of scenarios, with aluminium and magnesium as the main elements, containing magnesium at around 3-5%, and are therefore called aluminium-magnesium alloys. The main characteristics are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. For the same volume, Series 5 alloys weigh less than other metallic materials. It is also widely used in the conventional industry and belongs to the range of hot rolled aluminium sheets that can be oxidised for deep processing. In our country, 5-series aluminium sheet is one of the more established aluminium sheet series. It is therefore often used in aluminium for automotive/aircraft fuel tanks, heavy truck cylinders, yachts, car doors, brazing plates and radiator silos.

Series 6 aluminium sheet: stands for 6061, 6063/6082 and contains mainly magnesium and silicon, so it combines the advantages of Series 4 and 5. 6061 is a cold treated aluminium forging product for applications requiring high corrosion and oxidation resistance. 6 series alloys are good for practical applications, easy to paint and have good processability. It can be used for automotive lightweight aluminium such as underbody and wheel hubs, 3C products such as mobile phones and computers, camera lenses, industrial moulds, electronic parts and other precision machining.

7 series aluminium sheet: represents 7075. mainly containing zinc, it belongs to the aviation series. It is an aluminium-magnesium-zinc-copper alloy, a heat-treatable alloy, a super-hard aluminium alloy with good wear resistance. 7075 aluminium sheet is all ultrasonic tested to ensure no blisters and impurities. 7075 aluminium sheet has a high thermal conductivity, which can shorten the forming time and improve work efficiency. 7075 is a high hardness and high strength aluminium alloy, commonly used in the manufacture of aircraft.

8 series aluminium sheet: the more commonly used 8011 aluminium sheet belongs to other series. It is an aluminium sheet whose main function is to make bottle caps and is also used in radiators, most of which are used as aluminium foil. It is less commonly used in the aluminium sheet business, while the 8011 series aluminium foil is more widely used in foil.
